Siemens Power and Gas Budapest Plant

With an output of almost 500,000 turbine blades per year Power and Gas Plant Budapest became Europe’s largest turbine blade manufacturing location and therefore one of the key competence centers for manufacturing gas and steam turbine components within the global supply chain of Siemens Power and Gas Division. In addition, the plant produces large steel fabrications (e.g. diaphragms, casings) and bearing pedestals for gas and steam turbines and operates an engineering office as a vital member of the Siemens Global Engineering Team.
Within its 6.3-acre Budapest facility in June 2017 Siemens laid the cornerstone of a new 10,000-square metre production hall to extend its current 16,000 square metre manufacturing area and thereby enable broadening its portfolio.
